Withdrawal declaration

Submit a withdrawal declaration within 14 days of receiving the goods. No login required.

You can find it in your order confirmation email.

We will send the acknowledgement to this address.

By law you do not have to give a reason.

By pressing "Confirm withdrawal" you submit a declaration of withdrawal from the contract. The consumer's 14-day right of withdrawal starts from receiving the goods - see section 7 of our terms of sale.

Return terms

1. In Consumer Sales

HMK Auto OÜ does not buy back goods that do not conform to the contract, except for contracts concluded through electronic communication means.

2. Contract Withdrawal for Online Store Orders

The consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days. The period starts on the day when the consumer or a carrier designated by them physically takes possession of the goods.

The easiest way to submit a withdrawal statement is via the form at the top of this page. You can also submit it by e-mail to [email protected] or at HMK Auto's premises (Männiku tee 104A, Tallinn).

The consumer may inspect the returned product only to the extent that would be permitted in a shop. Installing, putting into use, starting or coding the product is not permitted.

The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from use beyond the permitted inspection. HMK Auto has the right to inspect the goods before refunding and to deduct the diminished value from the refund. The diminished value may be up to 100% of the value of the goods (e.g. installed/coded electronics or started assemblies whose internal damage may not be visible externally).

If the consumer refuses to accept the parcel (except a visibly damaged parcel), this is deemed a withdrawal and the consumer bears the return transport cost.

There is no right of withdrawal for goods made to order or specially ordered (VÕS § 53 (4)).

The consumer must return the goods without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from submitting the withdrawal statement. The direct costs of return are borne by the consumer. HMK Auto refunds all payments, including the delivery cost of the goods (up to our cheapest standard method), no later than 14 days from being informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment. The delivery cost is refunded also where the diminished value of the goods is 100%.

3. Product Return from Legal Entities

  • A correctly filled return sheet with the reason is required
  • An incompletely filled sheet may result in up to 30% withholding
  • The packaging must be intact, clean, without attached tape or writing
  • Installed spare parts will not be bought back
  • Slow-moving specially ordered goods cannot be returned
  • In case of incorrectly ordered goods, up to 30% of the tax amount may be withheld

4. Housing/Case Returns

The return period is 10 days. The part must be externally intact, clean, and match the original completeness.

  • Starter and generator mounting ears must be intact
  • The starter rotor end must not be blue
  • The steering rack gear must not be oxidized
  • The old part is placed in the same packaging as the new part

In case of these deficiencies, the housing price reimbursement is not guaranteed.
